On Carter's birthday we had Carter's favorite breakfast of Cinnamon Toast Crunch and he got to open a present - make your own gummy candies.
Then it was back to loading and trying to keep the boys out of the way of everyone helping us get things in the truck. I must say that I was not much help in the moving portion of the day, instead I spent most of my time snuggling the birthday boy. Carter normally does not favor me whatsoever. He loves his daddy and only when daddy is not home will he show more affection towards me and even then he can still be stingy so it was a real treat to have this little bugger loving on me. Together, with Brady, we watched movies and played silly games with cards. When dinnertime came around Carter got to pick where to go eat and of course he picked McDonald's, what 3 year old wouldn't?
After dinner we invited our next door neighbors over for cake and ice cream.
They even brought a little present for Carter.
We were going to go bowling together as a family but we were having so much fun playing with our friends we ended up doing just that and I'm so glad we did because it was a perfect way to spend our last night in Pennsylvania.
The next day we spent the whole day in either a car, a plane, or at the airport.
Carter slept the entire 2nd leg from JFK to SLC.
And on the day after that, New Years Eve, my mom planned a little party for Carter at Planet Play in Utah.
This mini-bowling was Awesome, I want one in my house!
Abi and Megan
I discovered how well Carter throws a ball while playing this game.
He made it in the hole every time.
Batman whack-a-mole with Uncle Dane and Uncle Pedo.
Deal or No Deal...we didn't win big...oh, well.
This may have been the most popular activity we did.
Carter played it over and over and over again.
By closing time we had danced a little too much, ate a little too much, and probably had a little too much fun. We headed back to my moms house for a light dinner and a night-cap. No, we didn't stay up to ring in the New Year but with all the fun we had celebrating with this 3 year old we didn't need to.
Happy Birthday Carter! I love you with all my heart.
