More Baby News
I've got lots of posting to do of our pre-Christmas adventures, but I'm waiting to get photos uploaded first. However I did want to tell the most recent news of our baby. At my appointment today we scheduled our c-section for January 9th at 5:00 pm. I will go in in the morning to have the amnio done at 8 and if all is well I'll go back in later that afternoon to get prepped. I am so excited to have a sooner date and that we are taking the precautions to be sure this little boy is really ready. Because I know I sure am!

Baby, come out NOW!
I just wanted to give another update on our little baby. I had an appointment yesterday and once again am measuring even bigger. When I measured with Braden I always measured about 1 to 2 weeks ahead of schedule. This little boy, according to the new January 4th due date, has been measuring on schedule. However, as of yesterday I am now measuring ahead again by a week. On top of that, I have been having regular contractions off and on for almost a week now. They come for a few hours and get to about 7 min. apart and then STOP (my mom says I'm doing this because of the weather, and it was a full moon last Friday-who knows?) My doctor is going to set up our c-section date sooner than the planned date of the 16th at my appointment next week. I'm still hoping I begin my labor before then because I don't really want to wait since we will be scheduling the date about a week after my due date. If I do make it to that date, then the doctor is going to have me do an Amniocentesis test that morning to check the baby's lungs and if everything is up to par we'll come back later that afternoon and do the c-section. I'll keep praying he comes sooner. Until then....

Thanksgiving Weekend
We had a great Thanksgiving. The only bad part was that Kam and I spent it in separate places. This year both my Dad and Kam's parents had dinner planned at the same time. Kam took Braden with him to the Henrie's and I ventured alone to have dinner at my Aunt's house. Kam had to work that night and for most of the weekend, so Braden and I hopped in the car with Heidi and spent the weekend in St. George. We got there very late Thursday night and on Friday we spent the day trying to avoid the chaos of Black Friday Shoppers, very unsuccessfully I might add, and making gingerbread houses. On Saturday, Heidi and Abi took off for Vegas for the Jonas Brother's concert, so I spent the day with my dad. I'd say I spent the day with my brother's too but they spent the entire weekend in the playroom playing x-box all weekend. I'm pretty sure none of them showered the whole weekend, except for when they decided to pick up "chicks" at the Cold Stone. My dad took us to this great Mongolian BBQ for dinner and to watch Madagascar 2. Braden loved the "lion movie." Sunday we went to church and drove home. (Oh, funny story, I forgot to bring a skirt with me so I ended up going to church in Levi's..they were my nicest pair, but still, never done anything like that before. I guess all that matters is that I went.)

Braden spent most of the weekend with this helmet on
and sneaking into the garage to ride the "cycle."
a late birthday
I just realized that I never posted about Braden's birthday party. He turned 2 on October 12th and we had a WILD party for him. I had Konnie help with the cupcake-cake and I made a Lion bean-bag game and pin-the-tail on the Zebra game for the few little people that came, namely cousins (yes, I painted them myself). The house was packed with all our family and I'm sure Braden felt extra special with all the attention. He recieved some cool gifts including a Barn with Animals, a Trike, Curious George plush, Books and new animal sheets for his BIG boy bed.
