come back now

So about five months ago my dad and Heidi decided to buy a house in St. George. At first I though it was cool because we could all go there on vacation together without having to stay in a yucky hotel. Anyway, they moved down there last March to get things settled and decided they liked it so much that they stayed. Now their home up here is for sale and I'm totally bummed. Especially Braden. He loves "Jamma" and "Papa." We were lucky enough to have them come for part of the summer for Abi's baptism and the fourth of July, only to leave us for their

Mediteranian cruise. We did have so much fun with Abi while they were gone. I'm pretty sure that Braden is going through withdrawls. He still shouts in the
morning for Abi to wake up and I have to tell him that Abi is not here anymore. So now they are back in St. George and we are missing them again. At leas I agree with Heidi, we do spend more quality time together when we do go visit or when they come see us, but now we just need the gas prices to go down so we can visit them every week!

poor baby

Okay, so we went to the Gateway to do a little shopping. I was looking for maternity clothes with no luck and both Kam and I wanted some new shoes. We went to Famous Footwear because they have their half price sale. Anyway, I was trying on some shoes when Braden starts crying. Kam grabs him to see what's wrong and finds little teeth marks on his hand. Some little boy shopping with his family BIT him. Both Kam and I started making a big deal about it and finally the mom comes over and apologizes. She made her little boy kiss it better and give Braden a hug. Not my idea of a punishment but at least they knew what had happened. Poor baby, getting bullied at the shoe store.

Auger Family Reunion at Bear River

Every year since before I was born my family has travelled up to Idaho to camp at the Bear River. It's a spot just past Preston, up the Oneida Narrows. My whole extended family goes from my mom's side and as of late it is now our official yearly Auger Reunion. We have such a great time getting dirty, singing songs around the camp fire, eating yummy dutch-oven dinners and floating the river. We all pile onto our inner-tubes and down we go. Even Braden went down on Kam's lap. This wasn't Braden's first trip down either, we took him last year when he was only 9 month old. He didn't like it much last year. He thought the water was too cold. This year was much more fun. I've decided that even if some of my extended family stops going, I will keep it as a tradition for my little family. It has always been one of my favorite vacations ever and every year I look forward to going and I am never, ever disappointed!

Utah's Hogle Zoo

Last week we went to the Zoo. I've taken Braden before but unfortunately I forgot the camera, oops! My sister Ashley, who just got in town that morning, came with us as well as some friends of mine, Kimi B. and Jenn with their little ones Beckham and Addy. Braden was really excited about everything. He loves animals, he always has. He made all the sounds and couldn't wait to see what was next!

busy weekend

My little sister Abi came to stay at our house for two weeks while my dad and Heidi were on a Medditeranian cruise. We had a lot of fun having her at our house. Braden especially loved having Abi around. He did everything she did and sometimes even tried to get her to do what he wanted to do. "Come here Abi" and "Abi, sit down" were heard a lot during her visit.

While she was here we celebrated Pioneer Day together. We went to the Handcart Days Parade in Bountiful with my friend Kimi, her husband Bryan and girls Abbie and Hannah. We also had dinner together at Wingers and watched fireworks at our house.

The next day we went to the park where they had a little fair in celebration of pioneer day. We ate cotton candy, hot dogs, snow-cones and delicious corn-on-the-cob. The kids rode the swings, went on a pony ride, and a handcart ride. On our way home we stopped for some root beer ice cream! Yum! Later in the evening we went swiming and enjoyed some more fireworks.

So Exciting to be on the Swing

Super Cool Goggles Bud!

On Friday, my sister had moved into her new house. She now lives just around the corner from me. I love that she is so close. We all worked really hard and well into the night; I think we finally finished at about 11 o'clock!

Now it was time to relax, however I got a major head-cold that I couldn't take any medicine for. It was no fun; it still is no fun, seeing that I am continuing to wait for the end to come. Despite all the craziness, we had a great time and it really was a fun weekend!

happy birthday America

What a fun 4th of July we had. The celebration just kept going and going. We began by having a swim party at my Uncle Brad's house and having yummy dutch oven dinner. After, we went up to my dad's house to watch the fireworks from my dad's balcony. What a view! Braden loved the big "BOOM." He kept saying, "firework, boom." Too cute. On the forth we got up and went to the parade with my mom, Megan and Kris. Braden loved it, especially all the candy. Talk about a sugar high and a great time!

Swimming at Uncle Brad's house!

Eating a snow-cone.

Watching the parade with Grammy Bo.

Meeting the grease-monkey. Braden wasn't too thrilled about him.

grammy bo's 50th birthday

For my moms birthday the kids treated her to a night of favorite things. My step-dad was still in Vegas working so we definately needed to do something special. We took my mom out to eat at the Cheesecake Factory, somewhere she had never been. It was so yummy. Especially the cheesecake! After we were going to go to a play, but we're unable to get tickets so we did the next best thing. We went to the park and played games. My mom is a card and board game fanatic. She even won, go birthday girl! Mom, hope you had a great birthday, we all love you!

Braden is the BIGGEST helper! Especially when he can be outside and with dad. He is totally daddy's boy!

lake powell

My dad and Heidi treats the whole family about every 18 months by taking us on a vacation. This year we decided to go to Lake Powell. We had a great time. Our house boat was overly amazing. It had 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 fridges and a hot tub! Wow talk about luxury. We were totally spoiled. We spent a week boating, wake boarding, tubing, swimming, playing Mario Cart on the Wii, crashing a wedding and watching a wake board competition. About 3 days into the trip a girl came to us telling us we had to move our boat because she was getting married right where we had parked. Funny thing was, we were there before they even showed up. The next day we woke to see about 15-20 house boats driving towards us. It looked like an invasion. They were all sponsors and spectators for a wake boarding competition, and they joined our camp too. Coming into our little bay you would have thought it was a marina due to the congestion of house boats. We decided to stay and were glad we did because we were hooked up with Skullcandy headphones and got a really great show! What an amazing trip! Can't wait to do it again next year; hint, hint!

Kam loved driving the boat; Braden helped.

kissin' cousins

Just a couple of cute little picture of Braden and his cousin Kennedee (my sister, Ashley's little girl) in their Easter attire. Are they just not the cutest things you've ever seen? We are sad that they have to live so far away in California but whenever we get together it's as though time has never past!
