What a little stinker I have. While I was getting ready the other day Braden somehow got into a jar of Eucerine Cream. As you can guess from the picture, he put half the jar all over his head. Naughty, naughty! I had to wash his hair 20 times and it still looked greasy! Luckily he didn't get it anywhere else...like the carpet.

the woes of being a house wife
Okay, so I've just done a lot of blogging today, finally catching up. But I need to take a moment and just get some stuff off my chest. I have decided that there is no way you can get everything done that you want in one day, nor can you in a weeks time and possibly not even in an entire month. I mean this past week for example: I cut and transplanted sod, revamped my flower beds adding additional square footage and opened a huge new flower bed in the front portion of the lawn in attempt to cover the ugly electrical boxes so nicely placed in my yard, I planted 3 trees and a couple shrubs, prepared and planted a tomato plant and a planter with flowers for decoration, I cleaned my entire house, rearranged furniture and made, made curtains for my kitchen, I cleaned out and organized my garage, threw a baby shower for my sister-in-law, attended a MODBE party (where I found the most amazing swimsuit and can't wait to order more...ps. I am going to have a ModBe party later this month), and finally found time to update my blog, curl my hair and put on a little makeup. And that is only just a part of what I've accomplished. My list is still longer than it probably should be and when I look at another woman who seems to have it all together I just want to give up and throw everything in the trash. Is it just me or is there too much to do?
a happy Easter in Cali
We had a great time in California. Braden and I went to visit Ashley, Ryan and Kennedee with Gramma Heidi, Papa and Abi. (Dad stayed home and worked.) It was Braden's first airplane ride. He was so good, both too and from the trip. While we were there we celebrated Kennedee's first birthday! We had lots of fun riding around in Kennedee's new wagon, swimming in the pool and eating birthday cake!
We also spent Easter there as well. I didn't have an Easter basket for Braden to gather his eggs in so I ended up making one out of a couple soda can boxes. It turned out pretty good. My sister thought I was crazy and even had a bet with her hubby that I wouldn't finnish it and just give up. I guess I showed her. Easter morning was great. We had lots of fun looking for Easter eggs and blowing bubbles. We even had a swim before Church. The little cousins were so cute in their Easter attire. We can't wait to go back and play some more. (That or maybe one day we will be able to get Ryan to finally move to Utah... probably not going to happen, but we can try!)
