Kam's sister lives in Minnesota and they came to Utah to visit for a week so we headed north to play with them. Before heading to Kam's parents though we stopped in Salt Lake for the Auger Family Reunion. It was so fun to see so many of my cousins and aunts and uncles. Growing up, the Auger family went on multiple vacations a year together and we were always together to celebrate birthdays, holidays, and other special days together. I miss that I don't get to see everyone very often but it sure is special to know that when we do get together it's just as fun and we pick up right where we left off.

We planned a lot of fun activities to do with the Henrie cousins. One activity was a hike up Davis Creek Trail to find the falls and Indian Bathtubs. We did find the falls but didn't find the bathtubs. The kids were pretty disappointed and had we brought more water and food with us we probably would have searched longer for them. We still had a great time and the view was amazing.
The cousins loved just being to gather and were very creative coming up with new games and ideas to play together. We also spent time playing at the park and even stoped to get a special treat on our way home at Fiiz Drinks.
While we were north we got together with my family to celebrate Abi's birthday one night for dinner. We were having so much fun visiting together that the kids got a bit restless so I took them outside to play for a minute. This little patch of grass was our "park" and anytime Jensen would try to leave the park I would say, "Stay in the park!" and he'd run and hug this tree.
Kam's sister's son was baptized while in Utah and it was a special treat to get to be part of it. Before the baptism we decided to temple hop and get a treat together on way down to Payson. We stopped at the new Provo City Center Temple and drove around the BYU campus and then stopped at the Payson Temple. It was the perfect little field trip to make "little b's" the baptism day a little extra special.
We had to leave the baptism celebration a bit early so we could meet my brothers for a Real Soccer Game. This was the boys first big game and they thought it was so cool. The best part of the game was the fireworks out on the field afterwards.
The next day the Boy's talked me into taking them back up Davis Creek to find the Indian Bathtubs. We decided to take a different trail to the falls thinking that maybe that was how to find them. On our way up we found part of a deer leg and also met a rattle snake! I was totally freaked out but the boys thought it was super cool! We eventually made it to the falls and as it turns out we had found the bathtubs the first time up, we just didn't make the full turn at the falls to really see them. We thought that we'd be able to swim in them but it was just too steep and dangerous (part of why we didn't make the turn in the first place).
Other fun things we did during the week were: swinging on the swing, girls date with a little shopping and a treat, boys date and playing with bows and arrows, family pictures, picking raspberries, roasting marshmallows, treats, crafts, and so much more. We really had the best time and it was so hard saying goodbye to the Giddings' Family. We are hoping to visit them in Minnesota next summer.
