For some reason this year seemed like a never ending Halloween! Probably because we had so many fun activities that we got to be part in. We went to a couple different Halloween parties one of which was our ward Trunk-or-Treat where Kam and I won first prize in the chili cook-off! But of all the fun things we did my favorite thing was definitely trick-or-treating on Halloween night. Like last year, we got together with several of our friends in the neighborhood to trick-or-treat. This year was especially fun because my Dad an Lucinda joined us as well for the evening. Before heading out we carved our pumpkins and ate our traditional Halloween chilli and rolls and a yummy truffle for dessert. Then we were out the door for more treats!
This year Carter was a Rally Race Car Driver...
Braden was a Werewolf...
and Sis celebrated her first Halloween as a Pretty Witch.
Grampa helped Carter carve a Stitch pumpkin.
I helped Braden make a Jack Skellington pumpkin with a baby.
And we carved a "Sis" pumpkin for Riley-Roo (see the two little teethers?)
With Grampa (aka The Harley Dude) and Lucinda (aka The Fairy Princess)
Our neighborhood is hit and miss with houses open to trick-or-treater's so after going door to door for a while we piled in the back of the truck to drive to certain houses that we knew gave out good treats.
Happy Halloween!
