Our ward youth conference was held near Springdale, UT at a cabin owned by a family in our ward. Our theme was the youth theme for the year found in 2 Nephi 31:20, "Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life." We played some fun games that went with the theme and the kids also prepared mini Book of Mormon story skits to perform for the leaders. We also went on a hike in Zions National Park. My favorite part of the conference was just hanging out and goofing off with the kids. I love spending time with the youth of our ward. They each teach me so much and am reminded of God's love for His children.
