Under Contract and on the Move

I can't say enough how truly blessed I am. I have been given so many wonderful things in my life. I have an amazing family. My hubby treats me like a queen and my boys make me feel special everyday. I am so grateful for the way our Heavenly Father teaches us and allows us to grow. I'm quite certain that it is my lot in life to learn and relearn that I need to have more faith and put more trust in my Savior and Heavenly Father. Every time I feel that I don't know what choice to make, or wonder whether or not something is going to work out the "right way," I get the same answer..."Trust Me Katie, I know you don't understand now, but all will work out the way it is supposed to. Just trust Me." And you know what? It always works out the "right way," maybe not the way I thought but I couldn't ask for anything better.

This weekend we received and offer on our house. At first I wanted to cry because it was much lower than we expected. After receiving some advice from our agent we put together a counter offer. I was sure the buyers were going to reject it, but they didn't! They accepted it and now our house is officially under contract. We are taking a huge hit due to the downfall of the economy. We are loosing our entire down payment, and had to sell our car and  will drain our entire savings account to pay off the balance of the loan. Normally I would look at this as a disaster but everything fell right into place in a  way that I cannot just call a coincidence. It was definitely the hand of the Lord working in our little family's lives.

We have also made the decision to move to Pennsylvania. Kam and I feel that is where we need to be. I am completely freaked out and once again am having those feelings of "how am I going to do this" but I know we will be blessed in ways that are too great for us to even imagine. We will be making the big move in August to a little town called Greensburg which is about 45 min. east of Pittsburgh. It is so crazy to think that I will not be living in Utah. It is going to be a great adventure!

happy birthday K

The cutest 2 year old girl I know!

do you wanna nap?

Braden has decided that he is too old for naps now. I still ask him every day if he'd like to take a nap, but of course he always says "no." I sometimes can get him to rest in my bed by putting on a movie where maybe he'll fall asleep. Lately  I have been finding him in unusual places where he has fallen asleep with his "lovey." The other day I found him in his bed! He tucked himself in and everything. What a kid!

East Coast, West Coast

These past few months have been crazy as we have been applying for Nursing Anesthesia School. Kam sent a few applications out to different schools across the nation and was given the opportunity to interview at three. He has been accepted to Excela Health in Latrobe, PA and is on an alternate list at Samuel Merritt in Oakland, CA. Most likely he will be selected off the alternate list, so now we are left with the decision of where we want to go and how far away from home we want to live. Both programs are great and will give Kameron every opportunity to do well and give him great prospects for the future. The school in PA would be considerably less expensive due to tuition being less as well as the cost of living but it is so far away. What will we do? Stay tuned....cause we have no clue!

Braden: (Talking to Kam.) "Excuse me boy, have you seen my friend the giant?" (Braden is obsessed with the giant from Jack and the Beanstock.)
